OUR NAME
A name built around trusted leadership.
The name Aptagrim is a portmanteau derived from two Sanskrit words.
Apta (आप्त): meaning “trustworthy”, reliable, or authentic.
Agrim (अग्रिम): meaning “leader”, foremost, or advanced.
Combined, Aptagrim translates to “Trustworthy Leader”. It reflects an idea that has shaped how we build: earn trust through what we create, while continually moving products forward.

- 2012
Aptagrim founded in India, establishing our engineering foundation.
- 2015
Formed a strategic partnership to engineer SAP middleware integration with AptaPLUS.
- 2017
Partnered with Microsoft to launch a dedicated BI and Data Science practice; became a NASSCOM member.
- 2018
Expanded into Singapore and the UK; launched the beta of our first Human Resources workflow platform.
- 2020
Established our European headquarters in Ireland; our custom AI development was featured on the Government of India’s IndiaAI portal.
- 2021
Released HR platform 2.0; recognised by HYSEA as a Top 10 startup.
- 2023
Signed an MoU with Nelson Mandela University to collaborate on AI psychometrics research.
- 2024
Officially launched psyHire, offering high-fidelity 5-minute cognitive and behavioural assessments.
